Backwards

I've been reading up a little on TLC-like communities recently and I just feel that Brandeis' program is conducted backwards. Other schools tend to offer themed living as a way to integrate first-year students as opposed to non-first-years. I guess that ensures popularity from the get-go, also this is in place of regular CA hall programming, or this simplifies programming due to common interest.

Trying to do something with this year's TLCers

I have just about two full months of programming time till the end of the semester. I would like to do some programming for the current TLCers but I'm finding that I don't have much time. Not only that, I don't even know what their interests in health are so that I can program to that tune. This is dissappointing. Perhaps I'll try to set up some surveys for them and implement the ideas I have for next year's TLCs.

What I'm thinking... in terms of programming for the TLC

CAREER DEVELOPMENT for the TLCers:
Advice from professionals, guesstimate activities (How many countries in the world? How many tennis balls fit into a Boeing 747? What is the shortest route from Lown to Shapiro Campus Center?)

Leadership training:
Exploration of resources, meetings with faculty and students that run NGOs, campaign and marketing/alt advertising sessions

What else...
I'm still thinking =)
